Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Job Description:
The BCBA is responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, implementing interventions, and supervising the work of RBT’s to ensure the effective delivery of applied behavior analysis (ABA) services. The BCBA will collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to support the client’s progress and enhance their quality of life.Key Responsibilities:
Assessment and Evaluation:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA) and skill-based assessments.
- Analyze data to identify behavior patterns and inform treatment planning.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
Treatment Planning and Implementation:
- Design and oversee the implementation of ABA-based programs.
- Utilize scientific & evidence-based strategies to address problem behaviors and
- teach new skills.
- Adjust interventions based on ongoing data collection and analysis.
- Face to face protocol modification or treatment by protocol.
Supervision and Training:
- Provide direct supervision to BCaBA, RBT’s and other support staff.
- Conduct training sessions for staff, parents, and caregivers.
- Ensure adherence to ethical guidelines and standards of practice.
- Supervision of RBT’s to maintain certification.
Data Collection and Analysis:
- Collect, record, and analyze data on client progress and treatment efficacy.
- Maintain accurate and daily documentation and reports.
- Utilize data to make informed decisions and modifications to treatment plans.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and caregivers.
- Conduct regular meetings to review progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development and school events.
Professional Development:
- Stay current with advancements in the field of ABA and related areas.
- Maintain BCBA certification and adhere to the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree or higher in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.
- Certification: Current certification as a BCBA by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Medicaid Credentialed (preferred)
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus.

- Knowledge of ABA principles and evidence-based practices.
